The Korean original runs 124 minutes. We file it on the South Korea hub beside 20th Century Girl because Byeon Woo-seok’s name now pulls both, and this is the better adult film.

Mi-so and Ha-eun

Childhood bond, adult drift, grief, and the particular cruelty of knowing someone too long. Kim Da-mi and Jeon So-nee carry the decades; Byeon Woo-seok’s Ham Jin-woo is a satellite, which is the correct scale. Jang Hye-jin, as ever, makes motherhood look like a full country.

Softer than the wound
