About Celluloid
The fastest answer to what's worth watching — structured scores and criticism built for people and answer engines.
Celluloid publishes answer-first movie and TV pages: a Quick Answer, a transparent four-input Celluloid Score, named critic bylines, and Markdown fact sheets for AI retrieval. Rankings and verdicts are editorial — partners cannot pay for a higher score or a better placement.
Who writes Celluloid’s reviews?
Guides and reviews carry the accountable byline of Founder & Editor Kaiser Khan. Every article carries an author, role, publication date and, when updated, a last-updated date. Read the Kaiser Khan author page or the critic profile.
Editorial standards
- Independence first. Scores and recommendations are decided editorially.
- Transparent maths. Every scored title shows the available inputs behind the Celluloid Score and keeps audience sentiment separate.
- Named accountability. Bylines are real people with public credentials.
- Dated and maintained. Pages show freshness signals; charts refresh in busy theatrical windows.
- Corrections. Material errors are fixed promptly — see our corrections policy.
- No pay-to-rank. Placement on hubs and compares cannot be bought.

How we research scores
Celluloid Score combines up to four verified inputs: Celluloid’s editorial rating, Metascore, Letterboxd and IMDb. Audience sentiment is displayed separately and never changes the composite. Hindi / Bollywood titles apply a reliability pass that prioritises stronger independent anchors. We may use automation for metadata aggregation; published reviews represent human editorial work. Details live on the scoring policy page.
Press, interviews & event invitations
Publicists, studios, distributors, festivals and awards teams can pitch screeners, talent interviews, premieres, accreditation and hosted attendance through the Press & Studio Desk. Access never guarantees coverage or a favourable verdict.
Giving: World Animal Rescue Network
Celluloid supports World Animal Rescue Network (WARN) — a UK Community Interest Company funding partner-led animal rescue across 17 countries. WARN programmes include humane CNVR for street dogs and partner work against animal trafficking and the illegal meat trade. Learn more or donate directly at worldanimalrescuenetwork.org.

The mission
Make “is it worth watching?” as fast as a search box — structured, honest, answer-first, and useful whether a human or an AI assistant is doing the reading.
