Cafe, hyena, cartel

Parthiban wants to be a Himachal cafe owner; the past wants him to be Leo. Kanagaraj stages that split with animal imagery and Anirudh’s pulse, then invites Sanjay Dutt and Arjun Sarja to play crime-family weather. The first hour’s domestic texture is the film’s best idea: a star pretending to be small. When the guns arrive, Leo becomes a greatest-hits reel of LCU cool — smoke, slow walks, cameo voltage — and the family plot has to shout to be heard.

Franchise gravity

As a standalone thriller it is baggier than Master. As a universe chapter it does its job: it makes Vijay’s stardom feel like a secret with a body count. Trisha and Madonna Sebastian are asked to humanize a machine that prefers mythology. Celluloid’s score is the stylish-crime average, not the fan-edit 10/10.
