What is Pressure about?
Seventy-two hours before D-Day, Allied command faces a decision that could doom the invasion: go on June 6 despite brutal Channel weather, or postpone and risk losing the element of surprise. Based on David Haig's play, Anthony Maras's Focus Features drama centers on Scottish meteorologist James Stagg, played by Andrew Scott, whose forecast must convince Brendan Fraser's General Eisenhower that the window is real. Kerry Condon and Damian Lewis fill the war-room ensemble as Stagg's data collides with military appetite for certainty — a procedural about clouds that held the fate of millions.
